A beautiful old church in Launceston, Tasmania

The remains of one of the prison's in Port Arthur, Tasmania.  The building used to be a flour factory.

A church inside a jail at Port Arthur.  The cubicles separated the inmates from seeing eachother and the only communication they were allowed was to sing in church.  Hence a lunatic asylum was built next door shortly after.

The road to Coober Pedy and Alice Springs doesn't exactly offer much entertainment.  This sign describes the common features of the outback- flies, sheep, and a few humans.  Although the penguin is another story....
